Mr. Norman Lester Keener, age 78, of the Heath House in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, March 30, 2013.
His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Keener was born December 28, 1934 in Lincoln County to the late Ralph and Alda Keener Keener. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Essie Denton Keener. He was retired from J.P. Stevens where he worked in maintenance.
He is survived by a half-brother, Richard Keener of Bessemer City; a half-sister, Rachel Tripps of Orlando, FL; an aunt, Juanita Costner of Lincolnton; and a cousin, Larry Withers and wife Jewell of Denver.
