Mr. Robert Wilson Mason, age 63, of 3229 Oak Ridge Circle in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. His funeral service will be 12:00 pm on Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Beth Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home. Mr. Mason was born July 8, 1949 in Surry County, Virginia to the late Lloyd Leonard and Helen Wilson Addison Mason. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then later worked as a truck driver. In addition, he enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, and eating seafood and loved the beach and family gatherings. He is survived by his wife, Denise Marie Kratz Mason of the home; three sons, Zeb Mason and wife Misty of Iron Station, Joe Mason of Denver, and Luke Mason of Lincolnton; a daughter, Sarah Mason of Raleigh; two brothers, John Marcus of Kernersville and Lloyd Leonard Mason, Jr. of Prince George, VA; and two grandchildren, Jaylen Mason and Trevor Mason.
