Stella Saw Chit Khin, age 88, of 247 Bob Burgin Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, April 15, 2013. Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Maiden with Rev. Dr. Robert Cantwell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Chit Khin was born June 18, 1924 in Rangoon, Burma to the late U. Saw and Daw Saw. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in Heaven by her husband, U. Mervyn Chit Khin, and sons Bunny and Cedric. She is survived by her children, Monty Chit Khin and wife Libbie of Alexis, NC, Ronnie Chit Khin and wife Nancy of Meadowview, VA, Terence Chit Khin and Cecil Chit Khin, Cecilia Chit Khin Blackledge and husband James, all of Lincolnton, Michael Chit Khin and wife Rosie of Newton, Kenneth Chit Khin and wife Angie of Pumpkin Center; thirteen grandchildren, Montgomery Mervyn, Chris Khin and wife Dianne, Shawna Matheny and husband Nathan, Amanda Khin, Charis Link and husband Marty, Rhonda, Heather Ginfrida and husband Scott, Kirk and wife Nina, Samantha, Kendria, Benji, Cedric, and Keegan; and five great-grandchildren, Caitlyn, Dylan, Conner, Araya, and Tyler.
