Mr. Bobby Carroll Turner, age 67, of Hunting Avenue in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Friday, April 26, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey Gates officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Turner was born January 31, 1946 in Lincoln County to the late Dorus and Helen Willis Turner. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Dean Turner. He served in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War and then later worked for, and retired from, Eastern Airlines where he was a reservations supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Vickie Ray Turner of the home; two sons, Bo Turner of Lincolnton and Calvin Turner of Greensboro; one daughter, Julie Turner Hughes of Hickory; and four grandchildren.
