Obituaries

Sandra “Sandy” Kaye Dellinger, age 48, of 2618 Buffalo Forest Road in Lincolnton, died on Saturday, June 1, 2013.

Her funeral service will be 3:30 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Hubert Clinard,  Rev. Tony Matthews and Rev. Derrick Dellinger  officiating. Burial will follow in the Hills Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home.                  

Miss Dellinger was born June 23, 1964 in Mecklenburg County to Jimmie Caldwell Dellinger and Jean Sifford Dellinger. She was preceded in death by a sister, Michelle Dellinger and grandmother “Nannie”, Helen H. Sifford.  Sandy formerly worked at Blum Incorporated. 

She is survived by her parents, Jimmie and Jean Dellinger of Lowesville; lifetime companion, Lorie Beard of Lincolnton; brother and sisters, Gloria Riehl and husband Ed of Oak Ridge, NJ, Timothy W. Dellinger and wife Johnny Sue of Lowesville, Donna Luckey and husband Sammy of Lowesville and twin sister, Candace “Candy” Dellinger of Lowesville; and nieces, Lisa Michelle Dellinger and Ashley Dellinger-Maddox.
