Glenn L. Sisk, Sr., age 70, of 267 Camp Creek Road in Iron Station, died on Tuesday, June 4, 2013.
His funeral Service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, June 7, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Sisk was born August 30, 1942 in Gaston County to the late Flay William and Ruby Clanton Sisk. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Marvin Sisk and Flay W. Sisk, Jr. Mr. Sisk was a Mason, served in the United States Air Force and then later worked as a truck driver for Westvaco, Burlington Industries and ultimately retiring from Integris Metals of Charlotte.
He is survived by a son, Glenn L. Sisk, Jr. of Iron Station; two sisters, Betty Jean Bolick and husband Bill of Catawba and Fay Haas and husband Bob of Gastonia; companion, Toni Manier of Statesville; and first wife, Irene M. Purcell and companion Larry J. Mintz of Charlotte.
