Obituaries

Carol Lorraine Cole Brashear, age 70, of 278 Sunnyhill Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, June 7, 2013.

A memorial service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, June 9, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Brandon Tipton officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brashear was born July 18, 1942 in Union, SC to the late John William and Ruby Elizabeth Hall Cole.  She was retired from textiles.

Survivors include one son, David Parker of Kings Mountain; two brothers, John W. Cole and Mike Cole both of Lincolnton; two sisters, Ella Merck and June Parker both of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
