Obituaries

Christina Anne Ward, age 52, of Pete’s Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, June 13, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Ward was born November 4, 1960 in Greenville, SC to Calvin and Anna Hughes Ward. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Chaney and Nora Murray.

She is survived by two sons, Mark Bess and Michael Bess, both of Boiling Springs, SC; two daughters, Abby Bess of Vale and Brittany Belue of Campabello, SC; parents, Calvin and Anna Hughes of Boiling Springs, NC; two brothers, Johnathan Ward of Columbia, SC and Marty Ward of Elk Ridge, MD; two sisters, Gina Rucker of Lincolnton and Vanessa Weiss of Maiden.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Life Share of the Carolinas, 5000 Airport Center Parkway, Charlotte, NC  28208.
