Obituaries

Mr. Ronald “Ronnie” Coleman Sigmon, age 66, of 321 S. Grove Street in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, July 2, 2013.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, July 5, 2013 at Emanuel Reformed Church of Lincolnton with Rev. Earle Potts officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.

Mr. Sigmon was born July 21, 1946 in Lincoln County to the late Claude Woodrow and Bonnie Conner Sigmon. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Dwight Sigmon, and three sisters, Susie Sigmon, Lois Ray, and Yvonne Helms. He worked in textiles.

He is survived by his wife, Andrea Seagle Sigmon of the home; four sons, Cole Sigmon and wife Sandy, David Lee Sigmon, Kyle Sigmon and wife Regina, and Andy Sigmon and wife Leigh, all of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Aubrey, Avery, Ashton, Michael, Hunter, Max and Harrison Sigmon; a sister, Phyllis Dellinger of Dallas, NC; brother, Claude Sigmon and wife Kathy of Lincolnton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
