Martha Goodson Story, age 70 of 286 Trey Trail in Lincolnton died Sunday, July 14, 2013.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Westside Baptist Church in Maiden. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Story was born August 20, 1942 in Lincoln County. She was the daughter of the late Albert Daniel Goodson and Fannie McAlister Goodson. Martha was preceded in death by her siblings Floylee Billings, Helen Burris, David Goodson, Sybil Fortenberry and Linda Goodson.  She worked in insurance prior to retirement.

Survivors include husband, F. Truett Story of the home; daughters, Shasta Story-Martin of FL,  Trudie Story Cullen of Sherrills Ford, and Teresa Story Green of FL; six grandchildren, Josh Price, Travis Price, Tiffany Green, Tyler Green, Trevor Green and Heather Martin; six great grandchildren.
