Obituaries

Carolyn Amelia Cloer Boston, age 73, of Lincolnton, died on Thursday, July 18, 2013.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Monday, July 22, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Boston was born May 10, 1940 in Lincoln County to the late Thomas and Alma Shrum Cloer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Boston, Jr., and a son, Paul David Johnson, Jr. She worked in textiles.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Watts of Charlotte and Rhonda Lynn Davis of the home; one brother, Don Cloer of Florida; two sisters, Evelyn Anthony of Cherryville and Barbara Proctor of Conover; five grandchildren, Crystal Bridges, Amy Robinson, Tonya Myers, Paul David Johnson, III, and April Haynes; and nine great-grandchildren.
