Mr. Ray Lee Haynes, Jr., age 56, of 3198 Sorrells Baxter Road in Cherryville, died on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shawn Berryhill officiating. The family will receive friends at the home on Monday, July 29, 2013.
Mr. Haynes was born March 22, 1957 in Lincoln County to Ray Lee Haynes, Sr. and the late Phyllis Fowler Anthony. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Sonny R. Haynes.
He is survived by two daughters, April Haynes of Charlotte and Crystal Bridges and son-in-law Terry Bridges and grandson, Tristen Ingle-Bridges of the home; father, Ray Lee Haynes, Sr. of Lake Wells, FL; step father, James W. Anthony of Lincolnton; three brothers, Carl F. Haynes and James Haynes, both of Lincolnton, and Scotty S. Anthony of Gastonia; three sisters, Libby Winters of Catawba and Kay Wright and Teresa Burnette, both of Lawndale; two step-sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wendover Hospice House, 953 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
