Obituaries

Roger Calvin Burrell passed away peacefully at Levine & Dickson Hospice House on Monday, July 29, 2013.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 1, 2013 at Warlick Funeral Home from 6:00 until 7:45 pm with a remembrance service to follow in the chapel.

Born in Mt. Holly on November 2, 1943 to Louise Hendrix Burrell and Calvin Burrell. 

He is survived by his wife, Judith Lingerfelt Burrell and children, Jeffrey Burrell and wife Shannon, daughter, Jennifer Jackson, son, Bryant Burrell and wife Sue; brother, Carleton Burrell; grandchildren, Shelden, Whitney, Jaye, Wesley, Elizabeth, Abigail, Jensen and Greysen; stepchildren Mike Morris and wife Stephanie and Scott Morris; and great-grandchildren, Annaleigha Rose Jackson and Jaye Deacon Jackson.
