Obituaries

Helen Marie Wyatt Holmes, age 84, of Cardinal Health Care, and formerly of Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, August 27, 2013.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Bobby Anthony officiating. 

Mrs. Holmes was born November 23, 1928 in Raleigh County, WV to the late Robert E. and Ethel G. Wyatt.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James H. Holmes. She worked as a waitress.

She is survived by two sons, Dennis Anthony of Hartwell, GA and Butch Anthony of Hokes Buff, AL; two daughters, Debbie Burgess of Lincolnton and Diane Filmore of Gulf Shores, AL; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
