Obituaries

Helen Virginia Cooper Lute, age 95, of the Lakewood Care Center in Denver, died on Sunday, September 1, 2013.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 7, 2013 in the Asbury United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Anita Sain officiating. 

Mrs. Lute was born August 7, 1918 to the late Lester and Gustea Mount Cooper.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Glenn Lute.  She worked in furniture manufacturing.

She is survived by a daughter, Linnie Smith of Iron Station; three grandchildren, Jeffrey McConnell of Sherrills Ford, Felica Smith of Lincolnton, and Amber Smith of Iron Station; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
