Obituaries

Danielle Elyse Hampton, age 24, of 115 Castle Court in Kings Mountain, died on Wednesday, September 11, 2013. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, September 15, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.  The family will receive friends from 2:45 until 3:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Miss Hampton was born March 19, 1989 in Gaston County to William Hampton and Alisa Black Hampton.  She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Eunice Black. 

She is survived by her father, William Hampton of Stanley; her mother, Alisa Black Hampton of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Amanda Hampton of Dillsboro, NC, and Katelyn Hampton of Kings Mountain; two nephews, Hunter Heffner and Cooper Heffner; paternal grandmother, Frances Hampton of Stanley; aunt, Jennifer Sheehy of Kings Mountain; uncle, Rusty Black of Cherryville; and great-aunts Jessie and Vera Killian, both of Stanley.
