Obituaries

Mr. Thomas Wilson Garrison, Sr., age 78, of Lincolnton died Friday, September 13, 2013.

His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Garrison was born on July 1, 1935 in Gaston County and was the son of the late Paul D. and Florence Stines Garrison. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Sarah Hovis Garrison.  Mr. Garrison was a US Navy veteran having served in the Korean War and was an accountant with Garrison Accounting Service.

He is survived by two sons, Thomas W. Garrison, Jr. of Mooresville and Ronald M. Garrison of Lincolnton; two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Garrison of Lincolnton and Connie G. Bare of Lincolnton; twelve grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.
