Obituaries

Mr. George Holland Payseur, age 73, of 129 George Payseur Road in Crouse, died on Saturday, September 14, 2013.

His funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Harry Splawn officiating.  Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Payseur was born January 24, 1939 in Gaston County to the late Charles Jerome and Marry Beulah Whitesides Payseur.  He worked as a frame builder at Ethan Allen for 44 years.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Ann Dellinger Payseur of the home; sons, Holland Payseur of Gastonia and Tim Leonhardt and wife Beth of Crouse; two grandsons, Timmy Dale Leonhardt and wife Jessica of Crouse and Eddie Laughlin of Gastonia; sister, Mary Splawn and husband Harry of Bessemer City; and two brothers, Judson Payseur of Lincolnton and Donald Payseur of Fallston.
