Obituaries

Helen Cline Campbell, age 88, of Denver, died on Saturday, September 14, 2013.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at St. Matthews United Church of Christ with Rev. Ray Jachowski officiating.  Burial was private.  The family received friends following the service.

Mrs. Campbell was born May 2, 1925 in Catawba County to the late Ernest Otho and Callie Brotherton Sherrill Cline.  She was also preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joe Bandy Campbell.  Mrs. Campbell worked as a real estate broker and owned The Pirate Chest in Triangle.

She is survived by two sons, Joel Campbell and wife Judy of Denver, and Kenneth Campbell of Lincolnton; two daughters, Beverly Page and husband Jimmy of Lincolnton, and Kathy Thames and husband Buddy of Nelson, VA; two sisters, Lois Snipes and Josephine Little and husband Fred, all of Newton; 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
