Obituaries

Jessie Mae Griffin, age 90, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 to join the Lord, her husband, and her family that passed before her.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 am on Saturday, September 28, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ingle officiating.  Burial will follow in the Pineville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 10:45 am prior to the service at the funeral home.

She was a lifelong resident of High Shoals and Lincolnton.  She was born on April 13, 1923 to the late Oscar and Bertha Bradley.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry R. Griffin, a daughter, (Penny) Delores Richard, son-in-law, Larry Richard, son, Ronald Griffin, grandson, Alan T. Richard, and three siblings. 

Jessie leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son, Tony A. Griffin (Cathi); four grandson, Brian Griffin, Marc Griffin (Amber), Bradley Richard, and Jon Richard; and six great-grandchildren.
