Obituaries

Henry Christopher Morrison, age 58, of Vale, died on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 5, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Devine officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:15 a.m. until 12:15 pm on Saturday prior to the service.

Mr. Morrison was born March 16, 1955 in Mecklenburg county to the late Henry and Martha Amon Morrison.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Daniel Morrison.   He worked as a landscaper and was an amazing husband and father and was much loved by his family.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Childers Morrison of the home; daughters, Shannon Morrison and husband C.J. Barnes of Lincolnton, Erin Morrison Dudley and husband Robert of Charlotte; sons, Sean Morrison of Pensacola, FL, James Morrison of San Diego, CA; three grandchildren, Lucas Barnes, Cooper Barnes, and Scarlett Morrison; brother, Michael Morrison of Mocksville; sister, Vicki Ford of Concord; and many nieces and nephews.
