Robert Wayne Hudspeth, age 41, of 224 Judas Drive in Troutman, died on Thursday, October 3, 2013.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, October 7, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrea Conder officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mr. Hudspeth was born November 2, 1971 in Farmington, MI to Robert P. Hudspeth and Deborah Brooks Poovey. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Hazel Hudspeth, and his maternal grandfather, Henry Brooks. Robert worked as a brick mason.
He is survived by his father, Robert P. Hudspeth of Denver; mother, Deborah B. Poovey of Dallas; one son, Robbie Hudspeth of Troutman; one sister, Regina Gray and husband Ben of Dallas; one half-sister, Rebekah Dean and husband Johnny of Piedmont, SC; one half-brother, Aaron Edwards and wife Alyssa of Gastonia; maternal grandmother, Vivian Brooks of Midland, NC; four nieces; and 8 nephews.
