Obituaries

Johnathan Wayne Auton, age 22, of 2431 Lena Ann Court in Crouse, died on Thursday, October 3, 2013.

His funeral service will be 3:00 pm on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Brown and Rev. Chris Randall officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 pm prior to the service at the church. 

Johnathan was born February 1, 1991 in Lincoln County to Jerry Wayne and Angelia Owens Auton.  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Douglas Owens who lived in Forest City. 

He is survived by his parents, Wayne and Angelia Auton of the home; paternal grandparents, Reid Auton of Lincolnton and Marilyn Auton of Lincolnton; maternal grandparents, John and Evelyn Barkley of Nebo; and godparents, Glenn and Kay Hardin of Lincolnton.
