Obituaries

Violet Geraldine Fisher Cash, age 82, of 4915 Highway 150 in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, November 17, 2013.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, November 20, 2013, at Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Bortz and Rev. Ken Gibson officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Cash was born June 10, 1931 in Lincoln County to the late Joel Alexander and Cora Lee Fisher.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, John Everette Cash.  She worked as an inspector for Hugger Clothing. 

She is survived by a son, John E. Cash, Jr. of Lincolnton; a daughter, Sharon Bohannon of Lincolnton; a brother, Donald Fisher and wife Kat of Iron Station; a sister, Julia Whitener of Kansas; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
