Mr. Curtis Vernon Ramsey, age 67, of 2193 Oklahoma Court in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, December 10, 2013.

His funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Friday, December 13, 2013, at Massapoag Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 pm on Friday prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Ramsey was born June 20, 1946, in Oakland, California to the late John and Doris Willis Cooper Ramsey. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Ramsey. He was a chef.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Ramsey of the home; two sons, John Ramsey of the home, and Mark Hoosier of Hampton, VA; a daughter, Laura Wallace of Hampton, VA; a sister, Judith Smith of San Bernardino, CA; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
