Elizabeth Schrum Little, age 90, of Lincolnton, N, C. died Saturday December 14, 2013.
Her funeral service will be held Wednesday December 18, 2013 at 3:00pm at Emmanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Collins officiating, burial will follow in the Old White Church Cemetery across the street from Emmanuel Lutheran. The family will receive friends Wednesday at the church from 2:00pm until 2:45pm in the North Wing of Emmanuel Lutheran Church prior to the service.
Mrs. Little was a native of Catawba County born on July 27, 1923, daughter of the late Everette and Bessie Boyd Schrum. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles S. Little Sr.. Lib grew up on a small farm north of Lincolnton, was a cheerleader at Lincolnton High School when she met Charles. She graduated from UNC-Greensboro and worked as an executive secretary in Charlotte and Lincolnton area. Lib was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church, DAR, several Bridge and Dinner Clubs. She adored her granddaughters and her adopted Abernethy family, especially her “God Children”. She loved spending summers at her lake house.
Survivors include: one son Smitty Little and wife Gail Mauney Little of Lincolnton; two granddaughters Danielle Little Ryan and husband Evan of Maui Hawaii and Jessica B. Little and friend Wesley Baker of Sherrill’s Ford; one sister Jeanne S. Calhoun and husband Phillip of Columbia S.C.; two nephews Robert Calhoun and wife Christie and Matthew Calhoun and wife Lori; one niece Elizabeth Calhoun Greene and husband Rick; six great nieces and nephews all of Columbia S.C.

The family will be at the home of the son Smitty and Gail Little South Poplar St. Lincolnton.
