Mary Ann Shuford Teague, age 65, of 4627 King Wilkinson Road in Denver, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mary was born August 4, 1948 in Lincoln County to the late William S. and Mildred Drum Shuford. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Larry Teague. She worked in textiles.

She is survived by two sons, Randy Powell of Lincolnton and Virgil Lee Powell of Oak Island, NC; one brother, William Sidney Shuford of Denver; and four sisters, Sheila Flowers of Catawba, Margaret Beard of Denver, Sarah Cureton of Stanley, and Martha McHargue of Lowesville.
