Mr. Leonard Roland Hendrick, age 80, of 343 Highland Drive, Lincolnton died Wednesday, December 25, 2013.

His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 28, 2013 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kathy McAbee officiating.  The family will receive friends from 12:45 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.

Mr. Hendrick was born on May 10, 1933 in Lincoln County and was the son of the late Paul Asbury Hendrick and Edith Long Hendrick.  He was also preceded in death by his wife Shelby Davis Hendrick, his son, Timothy Hendrick, his brother, Harold Hendrick and an honorary son, Johnny Stamey.  Mr. Hendrick was retired from the textile industry.

He is survived by his daughter, Vickie Hoke and husband, George of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Colby Hoke of Raleigh, Clay Hendrick of Lincolnton and Katie Hendrick of Lincolnton; three great-grandchildren.
