Obituaries

Mr. James Paul Moir, age 71, of 2359 Heavner Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, January 6, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 11, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Moir was born August 29, 1942 in Pittsburgh, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister. Mr. Moir retired from the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Lois LaJoie Moir of the home; five sons, Jeffrey Richards of Mongolia, Clint Richards and wife Jeanne of Yorktown, VA, Kevin Green and Billy Green, both of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and Jason Moir of Lincolnton; and one grandson, David James Moir.
