Mr. Kenneth Jeffery Murphy, age 51, of 3569 Gaston Webbs Chapel Road, Crouse died Sunday, January 19, 2014.

His funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Larry Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Murphy was born on June 8, 1962 in Lincoln County and was the son of the late Vergie Bell Freeman Murphy.

Mr. Murphy is survived by his son, Christopher J. Murphy of Lincolnton; his father, Kenneth R. Murphy of Crouse; one brother, Michael R. Murphy of Maiden; two sisters, Sissy Haynes of Lincolnton and Gladys Setzer of Dallas, NC; special caregivers, Frank and Chelsa.
