Pearl Hoyle White, age 96, of the Brian Center, died on Friday, January 31, 2014.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Lt. Col. Tim Atkinson officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late James Odis and Effie Wilson Hoyle. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady Andrew White and three brothers, James Luther Hoyle, Arthur J. Hoyle, and Henry Franklin Hoyle. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church of Lincolnton.
She is survived by her two sons, Grady Lee White and wife Patricia Ann of Gastonia and James F. White and wife Marlene of Lincolnton; four grandchildren, David Lee White and wife Carol Lynn of Gastonia, Peggy Ann Atkinson and husband Tim of Sanford, James Alan White and wife Lessie of Oakboro, and Kimberly Ann McMurtry and husband Tom of Danville, VA; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
