Mr. Ezekiel “Charles” Watson, 76, of 2447 Lake Street in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2014.
He was born March 28, 1937 in Stearns, Kentucky to the late Sherman and Edna Mae Jones Watson. He was a deacon at Middle Cross Baptist Church in Crouse. He loved gardening, hunting, fishing, and bowling.
His funeral will be conducted 2:00 P.M. Monday, February 3, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dale Hendricks and Rev. David Jerrell officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Sunday, February 2, 2014 from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife; Cleda Gay Hawkins Watson, son; Darryl Watson and Kimberly of Lincolnton, daughter; Barbara Mabe and Robert of Lincolnton, daughter; Jennifer Stonefield and Robert of Christiansburg, VA, grandson; Derek Watson and Stephanie of Lincolnton, granddaughter; Casey Mason of Lincolnton, and great- grandson; Elijah Watson of Lincolnton.
