Clara Jane Rhodes Church Causby, age 73, of 726 S. Grier Street in Lincolnton, died on Monday, February 10, 2014.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Jane was born November 6, 1940, in Lincoln County to the late John Edgar and Mary Hull Rhodes. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Lee Causby. She worked as a supervisor in textiles.

Left to survive her memory are a son, Horace “Pete” Church of Lincolnton; one brother, Johnny Rhodes of Lincolnton; two sisters, Fran Keever and Louise Church, both of Lincolnton; five grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
