Mr. Jimmy Dale Clippard, age 54, of 1823 George Brown Road in Crouse, died on Saturday, February 22, 2014.

A memorial service will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with guest speaker Anna Holloway. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 5:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jimmy was born May 13, 1959, in Lincoln County to the late Ralph Frederick and Beddie Caroline Sutton Clippard. He worked for Timken for over 23 years. In his spare time, he helped with the Boy Scouts, loved playing guitar, enjoyed golfing, and was a member of the Heart Strings Band.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy Smith Clippard of the home; a daughter, Desiree Dawn Schumacher of Stanley; a son, Dustin Clint Clippard of Crouse; and two sisters, Carolyn Proctor of Lincolnton, and Elaine Heafner of Cherryville.
