Obituaries

Peggy Jane Reep Reece, age 71, of 929 Hoffman Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.

Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Long Shoals Wesleyan Church with Rev. Jon Mann officiating. Burial will follow in the Pisgah United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Reece was born November 8, 1942, in Lincoln County to the late Clarence Reep, Sr. and Lucy Hoffman Reep. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Norris Reece of the home; a daughter, Selina Keever and husband David of Lincolnton; a grandson, Brett Keever of Lincolnton; a brother, Clarence Reep, Jr. of Lincolnton; and two sisters, Nancy Reep of Lincolnton and Alene Blair of Newton.
