Betty Louise Clanton Moody, age 67, of 2205 Buffalo Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, February 24, 2014.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2014, at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will be at the funeral home from 1:00 until 1:45 pm prior to the graveside service.

Ms. Moody was born July 3, 1946, in Lincoln County to the late David Rockford and Hattie Childress Clanton. She worked in textiles.

She is survived by a son, Dwight Moody of Lenoir; two sisters, Patricia Carpenter and Imogene Clanton, both of Lincolnton; and two grandchildren.
