Vicki Lynn Crockett Simons, age 48, of 1359 Maiden Wood Circle in Maiden, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2014.

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Open Word Holiness Church with Pastor Matthew Sparks officiating.

Vicki was born October 6, 1965, in Harve De Grace, Maryland to the late Roosevelt and Retha Mable Charles Crockett. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Tammy Sue Baldwin. She worked in housekeeping for CMC – Lincoln.

She is survived by her husband, Rodney Simons, Sr. of the home; four sons, Rodney Lee Simons, Jr. of Maiden, Derek Simons and wife Jennifer of Lincolnton, Joseph Frank Simons and Brandon Ross Simons, both of Maiden; one sister, Melissa K. Gross of War, WV; mother-in-law Margaret Simons; and father-in-law Frankie Simons of Maiden.
