Obituaries

Mortimer Flohr, age 89, of 1916 Old Farm Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, March 9, 2014.

Services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Flohr was born June 10, 1924, in New York City, NY to the late Bernard and Rose Flohr. He served in the United States Army during World War II and then later worked in computer and telecommunications sales.

He is survived by three sons, Tom Flohr and wife Betty of the home, Dan Flohr and wife Tina of Atlanta, GA, and Bill Flohr of Santa Monica, CA; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Carter of Barcelona, Spain, Rachel Flohr of Mt. Holly, NC, Jordan Gavitt and husband Kyle of Wilmington, NC, Taylor Flohr of San Francisco, CA, Alexandra “Alex” Flohr of Atlanta, GA, Gabriel “Gabe” Flohr of Santa Monica, CA, Shelley Wilkes of Lincolnton, NC, and Jenna Flohr of Atlanta, GA; and one great-grandson, William Gavitt of Wilmington, NC.
