Obituaries

Mr. Ronnie Lee Thomas, age 63, of 1814 Drew Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, March 14, 2014.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Thomas was born October 29, 1950, in Lancaster, Ohio to Eileen Harriet Burnsworth Thomas and the late Raymond Harry Thomas. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and then later worked as a welder.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Gilbert Thomas of the home; two sons, Dennis Thomas of Taylorsville and Daniel Anderson and wife Bobbie Jo of Bessemer City; four daughters, Tina Davis of Lincolnton, Teresa Headrick and husband David of Vale, Tonya Headrick and husband Donnie of Vale, and Melina Dillard and husband Michael of Kings Mountain; one brother, Rick Thomas and wife Barbara of Rushville, OH; one sister, Carolyn Spillman and husband David of Junction City, OH; his mother, Eileen Thomas of Rushville, OH; twenty grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
