Obituaries

Mr. Kenneth Breedlove, age 63, of 114-1 Wes Cook Rd., Lawndale, N.C., died Saturday, March 29, 2014.

He was born August 26, 1950 in Gaston County to the late Thurman Willard Breedlove and Elsie Dean Thomas Breedlove.  He worked for Duke Power as a mechanic and was a veteran of the US Army. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, April 2, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverends James Townsend and Mark Quinn officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gaston Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at Warlick Funeral Home from 6:00-8:00 pm Tuesday. 

He is survived by 2 daughters, Shannon Black of Maiden and Danielle Breedlove of Lawndale; 1 brother, Thurman Willard Breedlove of Bryson City, NC; 2 grandsons, Tyler Black of Maiden and Zachary Howard of Lawndale and 1 granddaughter, Taylor Black of Maiden.
