Joyce King Hoyle, age 64, of 1312 Mirror Lake Road in Lincolnton, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 6, 2014.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, 2014, at Pearl Baptist Church with Rev. Malcolm Ivey, Rev. Alan Wheeler, and Rev. Jeff Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Joyce was born February 1, 1950, in Gaston County to the late Walter Clyde King, Sr. and Blanche Carrol King. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who faithfully loved her church and church family. When Joyce wasn’t busy working as a beautician, she enjoyed spending her time in the kitchen.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Wayne Hoyle; two daughters, Lisa Hoyle (Robert Cook ) of Clover, SC and Dana (Charles) Simpson of Alexis; one brother, W.C. King, Jr. (Jackie) of Kinston, NC; one granddaughter, Sengla Inthanonh; and one grandson, Austin Simpson.
