Mr. Jeffery Craig Hinson, age 54, of 145 Shell Street in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, May 6, 2014.

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Cook officiating. Burial will follow in the McKendree United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 8, 2014, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Jeffery was born March 11, 1960, in Catawba County, to the late Ray and Dolly Slaughter Hinson. He worked as a sander.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah Hinson of the home; three sons, Jamie Hinson, Jonathan Hinson and wife Alisha, and Jesse Hinson, all of Lincolnton; a daughter, Jennifer Shull and husband Robert of Lincolnton; a brother, Billy Hinson and wife Peggy of Granite Falls; three sisters, Debra Hinson of Hickory, Roberta Sigmon and husband Melvin, and Delores Garrison, all of Conover; and a granddaughter, Laney Hinson.
