Mrs. Doris Jean Phillips Proctor age 76 of 2519 Keener Road Lincolnton died on Sunday May 11, 2014.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday May 13, 2014 at 3:00pm at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church, with Rev. Ken Jones officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00pm until 2:45pm prior to the service.

Mrs. Proctor was a native of Gaston County. She was born on April 3, 1938, daughter of the late Denver and Mildred Branton Phillips. Mrs. Procter was preceded in death also by two sons Roger Sigmon and Randy Proctor. She was retired from the textile industry.

Survivors include; husband Billy R. Proctor of the home; three daughters Sherrie Brown, Norma Reynolds, and Rita Watts all of Lincolnton; two brothers Robert Phillips, and James Mike Phillips both of Lincolnton; four sisters Audrey Keever, Patricia Cherry both of Lincolnton, Nancy Chapman of Vale, and Judy Heavner of Cherryville; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
