Obituaries

Mrs. Josie Inman Cartrett, age 69, of 109 Hillside Drive, Lincolnton died Saturday, May 31, 2014.

A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Mt. Holly.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cartrett was born on December 21, 1944. 

She is survived by her loving and devoted  husband of 32 years, J.D. Cartrett of the home; her children, Larry Black and wife, Shannon of Maiden, JoAnn Dewey and husband, Clayton of Maiden, Benny Ray Black and wife, Roxanne of Stanley, Kay Cartrett of Gastonia, Sherry Jackson and husband, Robert of Lowell; one sister, Barbara Powell of Lincolnton; one brother, Benny Moore and wife, Marietta of Georgia; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
