Obituaries

Fred J. Alexander age 98, of 1089 C Alexander Road in Lincolnton  died Friday, July 4, 2014.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 at Iron Station Cemetery. Rev. Doug McClain will officiate. Visitation will follow the graveside at High Shoals Baptist Church.

Mr. Alexander was born March 29, 1916. He was the son of the late Morris M. Alexander and Minnie Smith Alexander.
He was preceded in death by his wife Charles Caskey Alexander.

Survivors include son, Fred J. Alexander, Jr. and wife Patsy of Kingsland GA; daughter, Joyce A. Mosteller and husband Benny
of Lincolnton; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and one great- great grandchild.
