Linda Louise Sims Nolen, age 70, of 6046 Nolen Acres Lane in Iron Station, died on Friday, July 11, 2014.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 15, 2014, at New Grace Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Taylor officiating. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, July 14, 2014, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nolen was born January 30, 1944, in Gaston County to the late Clarence and Mildred Case Sims. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Jeff and Terry Nolen, a grandson, Bradley Nolen, and a brother, James Sims. She was self-employed.

She is survived by her husband, Norman J. Nolen of the home; two sons, Frank Nolen and Eric Nolen, both of Lincolnton; fifteen grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
