Obituaries

Mrs. Shirley Lineberger McLean, age 79 of the Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation and formerly of Victor Street in Lincolnton passed away on Sunday, July 13, 2014.

Her services will be private.

Mrs. McLean was born on December 9, 1934 in Lincoln County to the late Leonard Reid and Knoxie Schronce Lineberger.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John T. McLean, III.  Mrs. McLean was the retired director of the Lincoln County Office on Aging.

Survivors include one son, John “Chuck” McLean, IV; three grandchildren, Julian McLean, Jaden McLean and Cameron McLean; two sisters, Winnon Cashion and Sybil Eurey of Lincolnton.
