Elizabeth Cloninger Foster, age 77, of 869 Salem Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, July 14, 2014.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2014, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Ingle officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Warlick Funeral Home.

Elizabeth was born August 28, 1936, in Lincoln county, to the late Fay and Bryte Self Cloninger. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, David Giles Foster. She worked as a secretary in textiles.

She is survived by a son, Steven David Foster and wife Teresa of Huntsville, AL; two daughters, Susan Foster Ray and Teresa Foster Cash, both of Lincolnton; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
