Sarah Payne Bradshaw age 87 of The Brian Center in Lincolnton and formerly of E. Highway 27 in Iron Station died Tuesday, July 15, 2014.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday July 19, 2014 at Iron Station Cemetery. Rev. Mel Burton will officiate.

Mrs. Bradshaw was born April 18, 1927 in Gaston County. She was the daughter of the late Julius Payne and Mattie Clemmer Payne. Mrs. Bradshaw was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Edgar “J.E.” Bradshaw, Jr. She retired from Talon Inc. Sarah was a member of Iron Station United Methodist Church where she served in various areas until her declining health.

Survivors include her daughter, Susan B. Brymer and husband Jackie of Iron Station; sons, Larry Wilson of Maiden and Ronald Dean Wilson of California; sister Ann Frost of Great falls, SC; grandchildren, Joseph and Andie Brymer, Katherine and Dr. Carl Szezesniak, Elizabeth and Ryan Hadley, Angie and Shawn Mull and Patrick Wilson; seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family asks memorials be made to Christian Ministries of Lincoln County, P.O. Box 423, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
