Obituaries

Mrs. Alyce Lenore Will Ankrom, age 86, of 88 Morning Glory Drive, Belmont died Tuesday, July 29, 2014.

Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 2, 2014 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mrs. Ankrom was born on October 24, 1927 in Wisconsin and was the daughter of the late Herman and Beulah Robertson Will.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert William Ankrom.  Mrs. Ankrom was retired from American Lock Company.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Tidd and husband, Terry of Iron Station and Karen Tidd and husband, Timothy of Mt. Holly; four sons, Michael Ankrom of Illinois, Steven Ankrom and wife, Linda of Crown Point, Indiana, Gary Ankrom and wife, Patricia of Park Forest, Illinois and Mark Ankrom and wife, Angie of Mt. Holly;two sisters, Lucille Dierking of Wisconsin and Lois Delfs of Belmont; two brothers, Jerry Will of Illinois and Harold Will of Illinois; 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
